Thunder so hard it makes the ground shake!
deep and low the thunder crows
tremendous cracks and roars
closer it comes turning the morning sky into night

stops the rain and quiet for a while, then a crack of thunder that seems to start in NYand branch over me like a large maples sprawling roots [...]

but now it’s breezy and cool and grey
and the salt wind lifts the giant maples leaves
up and down
like big wide palm fronds fanning the ground
Hiawatha woods beckon me to the magical salt
marshes
where the wind blows its soft reeded [...]
plant it and it will grow
