Hammonasset open!
We are all like happy kids
1st day no fee entrance into Hammonasset!
a beautiful windy summer day
hot, dry and windy sorta of like California
but so much greener and full of life
sapphire blue skies
puffy big white clouds
cranes, seagulls, herons flying about
their giant wingspans shadowingy the earth below
the smell of fresh salt air
out on Meigs Point on the [...]
“going to the beach, er shore”
took a quick ride to the shore
past the “PRIVATE” beach signs
winding thru green arches of trees so lush with life
it’s gentile and quiet here
even the ocean is soft with it’s waves
the little red boat bouncing on the water
i’m sure it’s been to the little island in the distance before
a microcosm of paradise
