the blustery dry day calls me out so early this morning
I heard her blowing all night
shush wushshush wuuuuuuuushhhhhhhh
banging the blinds to keep me awake
up from the salt marshes
and in from the the northwest
the sweetest wind
full of life and hope
no skeets
and the marsh grasses sway with designs by the wind
my sheets whip and blow with the [...]
on this beautiful little blue planet called earth
a cacophony of sound
swirls
chirps
loopy sounds
the knocking on wood like a soft jackhammer
the red sun
brings the smoky coloured sky
hazing the salt marshes with a look of early morning primordial splendor
in her nakedness
she witnesses another glorious day
full of promise and hope in the natural rhythms of life. . .
